~ Karsyn's birthday was March 7th (she turned 2) and we are having her birthday party this weekend. Sydney was talking to my dad yesterday and tells him Karsyn is going to be 3. It took some explaining but after a while she agreed that Karsyn will still be 2 at her birthday party and not 3. She was so certain she was going to be 3. It was cute!
~ We were outside yesterday and Sydney was pretending she was a zookeeper and was naming the animals in her zoo. I asked if she had any deer in her zoo and she said "yup, we have deer in Ninnesota." She also added that at her zoo they make milk out of snow! =)
~ Since Karsyn has had a couple little birthday celebrations (one on her birthday at home and one at daycare), she is understands that there will be cake and blowing out candles. Today we went and bought Karsyn's birthday stuff, cake mix and decorations. Every time she sees the cake box she says "burshday" and pretends to blow out her candle. Then when I try to get her to say "burshday" she pretends to blow out her candle!
~ Today Karsyn is wearing her "meow" outfit (as she calls it). Its a leopard print fleece shirt and pants for those of you who aren't familiar with it. She chooses to wear it whenever its not in the laundry ends up being worn once a week for sure. Well today she was running and she tripped and fell. I was waiting for her reaction....cry....or laugh.....nope she started crawling and meowing like a cat!! What a character!!
~ This one is sad for me but still made me smile. The other day Sydney was looking at a picture of my mom and asked, "is Grandma Liz going to be in heaven forever?" I said "yeah." She says, "What does she do there?" I said, "Whatever she wants." She says, "Does she work there?" I said, "Yeah, she works there as an angel watching over us and helps keep up safe." =)
